During Acceptance, these Observations are typically called <strong>Punch items<\/strong> and are managed in the same way in Archipad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can create an Observation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>during a Meeting<\/strong>, to track issues noted during a site meeting or Acceptance inspection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>outside of a Meeting<\/strong>, to record an Observation at any time on the Project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create an Observation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open a Meeting or create an Observation outside of a Meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the relevant Plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>+ Observation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click at the desired Location on the Plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the Observation Information: <strong>Location<\/strong>, <strong>Work Package<\/strong>, <strong>description<\/strong>, <strong>Phase<\/strong>, <strong>due date<\/strong>, <strong>Status<\/strong> or <strong>Photos<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/help.archipad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-Image-30-juil.-2026-15_50_45-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.archipad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-Image-30-juil.-2026-15_50_45-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.archipad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-Image-30-juil.-2026-15_50_45-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/help.archipad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-Image-30-juil.-2026-15_50_45-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/help.archipad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-Image-30-juil.-2026-15_50_45.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To know<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enter at least one piece of Information before leaving the Plan, otherwise the Observation will be deleted.
